whiteheads and blackheads removal

Treatment of Blackheads and Whiteheads

Blackheads & whiteheads begin forming on our face and body when the pores of our skin get blocked by dead skin cells / the excess oil produced by the skin or the debris and bacteria found on the skin surface. Basically the pores get blocked and closed up.
Blackhead-Whitehead-Remove

Among these blocked pores, those that have exposed or open tops become black or dark due to being exposed to the dirt and dust of the environment. These are thus called blackheads or "open comedones" and those blocked pores whose openings are closed off appear as whitish looking small bumps. These are called Whiteheads or "Closed Comedones"

When people begin developing blackheads and whiteheads, they often try to extract them by squeezing them out but doing this is very harmful.

Firstly, squeezing comedones to get rid of them is a bad idea. Because the dirt on the hands gets into the exposed pores of the face.

Secondly, when a black or whitehead is squeezed and it comes to the surface then all the bacteria contained within it, tend to spread on the skin and this can cause a lot of irritation to the skin as well as the possibility of infection. Which can in turn lead to the formation of pimples and black spots and marks on the skin.

Thirdly, Squeezing comedones causes the mouth of the pores to open up and thus become enlarged besides this, it can also lead to scarring.

Treatment for blackheads and whiteheads

Firstly, In order to remove these, many people recommend a facial scrub or recommend the use of steam, another popular method for removal is Blackhead Removal Strips and the usage of masks made from Besan (Chickpea Flour), Rice and also Charcoal.

By adopting these methods, small blackheads are removed and so is the oiliness from skin. But bigger blackheads and whiteheads remain.

Secondly, Another commonly recommended treatment is the usage of Benzoyl Peroxide Gel. This is good for the treatment of pimples but it isn't very helpful in the treatment of blackheads and whiteheads. In order to get rid of black and whiteheads.

The most safe simple and effective technique
Those people who have very oily skin. should, before going to sleep at night wash their face with lukewarm water and a Salicylic Acid Face Wash.

This facewash is made by Cipla and is known as Saslic Foam 2% Face Wash. Another is Saslic DS Foaming Face Wash. Another one in Nidwash Forte, besides Salicylic Acid, this contains Glycolic Acid, Aloe Vera Extract and Vitamin E. All these face washes are available at good medical stores.

You should buy any ONE of these face washes and gently rub it all over your face but it is not to be rubbed in. These face washes will, without any excess rubbing in, remove extra oil from your skin as well as clean out all the dead accumulated skin cells on your skin surface.

At first, use these washes only at night and then if they suit you well then you should use these face washes both at night and during the day also. After using Salicylic Acid Face wash to clean your face when you apply medicine to clear blackheads and whiteheads from your face. Then the medicine is able to penetrate deeper and work much better.

Out of these, the best medicine as well as the most well tolerated one is 0.1% Adapalene Gel. This gel should be applied every night after washing your face on the blackheads and whiteheads on your skin slowly, the black and whiteheads begin to dry up and then fall off and also do not leave any enlarged open pores in their wake.

The treatment which I have told you over here should be supplemented once a week by using a Chickpea Flour Mask or Charcoal Mask, which will give you good results.

Those who have dry or normal skin do not require face wash. Such people need only wash their face with normal water at night and then apply 0.1% Adapalene Gel in 2-3 weeks, blackheads and whiteheads.

Some important
That Retino A cream or any product derived from that family such as Adapalene Gel or Tazarotene Gel all make your skin sensitive to sunlight. That is why, whenever you use these creams use them only at night time and during the daylight hours make sure to wear a 30-40 SPF sunscreen.
